"Skittles" visited our students for the grand finale of our Nocturnal Animal week! She is 2 1/2 years old and adorable. I told my class that I would post these pictures so they can see what Skittles looked like when she was a baby and what her house looks like now. Her mother was killed by a car just after she was born. Ask your child to tell you some interesting facts about raccoons, bats, or other nocturnal animals!
Dear Parents,
Our class will be having an apple day this Friday, September 18th. We are asking that each student bring to school one sliced apple in a plastic baggie. Everyone will participate whether or not they bring in an apple. We will be graphing, comparing and writing about apples. Wednesday we will paint with apples. ~Mrs. Patterick *Fun Tip- put a couple drops of lemon juice in the apple baggie to keep the apple from turning brown. |
